Fader Media Group is a small media company created to self-publish its magazine Fader. It previously printed its main magazine Fader, however now its entirely digital. This publisher's favourism of the digital format makes it not suitable for my magazine, as it should be available in print. Also the publisher only produces one magazine, its own Fader, meaning that it would be unlikely that theyd publish another.
Bowens Publishing is a small independent publisher, known for its three magazines: Indie Rock Magazine, Beats and WRG (What's Really Good). The publisher's history with Indie Rock may make it suited to my magazine, however its style for its previous magazines doesn't match my desired style. The company also mostly specialises in the digital format, with only limited print runs priced at $5.25 (£4.15), which, despite the pricing being right, is not my desired formatting style.
Sonic Media Group is a small publishing and advertising group that help organise live music as well as publish magazines like DIY. This publisher working with DIY, a big influence on my magazine, is a good sign of the publisher's quality. Though the magazine is digital, print versions are available from the website, priced at £3. This is a perfect price and a better ratio of the two formats, making Sonic a great idea for a publisher for my magazine.
